Jerry Coleman and Coltrane Melody Champions at The Big Event Futurity
Jerry and Coltrane teamed up to win all three divisions, bringing home a Lawson in the $5000 added open and a Morrison in both the Intermediate Open and Limited Open. Tommy Milnes rode Nico DelSerro's Oneluckysonofagun and Jerry Coleman rode Carl Ernst's From Dust Til Dawn to tie to win the Novice Open. Jerry Coleman and Rock N Roll Olena (owned by Cathy Herbert) were Reserve Champions in the Open and Intermediate Open.

Tommy Milnes and Ebby Kellner were married on September 24, 2005. The
day couldn't have been any prettier with clear blue sky and a gorgeous

Joe Cody Classic Results
On Friday Tommy Milnes won the Intermediate Open on Lynda Schmidt's Paddies Irish Heart marking a 72.
On Saturday evening Tracy Tuerk won her first Morrison Bronze in the Limited Non Pro Derby on her own SCF The Night Train. She then won the $1,000 added Novice Horse Non Pro on Sunday. Two Morrison's in one weekend. Way to go Tracy.
On Sunday Amber Jewel rode her Goldpine Sweetie and tied to win the rookie with a 70.5. During the run off her and Sweetie teamed up to mark a stellar 71.5 for the class win.
Jerry Coleman and Cathy Herbert's Rock N Roll Olena teamed up once again to mark a 145 and were Reserve Champions in the Open and Co-Champions in the Intermediate Open with another one of Cathy's horses Gunners Destiny. Congratulations on another fantastic weekend Cathy.

Karen Shedlauskas and Nifty Dun It ~ Non Pro Futurity Champions in Raleigh
Congratulations to Karen and her new horse, Nifty Dun It, capturing the Non Pro and Intermediate Non Pro Futurity Championships at the Double Run Farm Main Event and Futurity. Karen and her little palomino gelding teamed up to mark a 218 and came home with two Lawson Bronzes.

Northeast Classic Show Results
Ebby Milnes rode Smart Little Chic to win the High Point Rookie Buckle at the Northeast Classic. Smart Little Chic has been hanging out in the pasture as part of Milnes' breeding program and took a year off from having foals. She is now rebred to Brennas Red Pine Jac for a 2006 foal.
Congratulations to Jerry Coleman riding Paddies Irish Heart to win the High Point award for the Intermediate Open and Open. Jerry and "Irish", owned by Lynda Schmidt, won the $1,000 Open and $1,000 Intermediate Open on Friday and were second and third respectively on Sunday.
Jerry Coleman and Rock N Roll Olena had another fantastic weekend and won another Morrison Bronze for owner Cathy Herbert. Jerry and Hershey won the $1,000 Novice Horse on Sunday.

Syracuse Results
Congratulations to Jerry Coleman winning the second Lawson Bronze this year on Cathy Herbert's Rock N Roll Olena in the $1,000 added Open. "Hershey" and Jerry teamed up for a beautiful run scoring an impressive 72. Jerry and Hershey were also High Point award winners for the weekend in the Intermediate Open as well as the Open.
Congratulations to Madalynn Milnes and The Great Lady on her class win and High Point award for the weekend in the Youth 13 & Under.

Madalynn and "Izzy" win in Syracuse
Congratulations to Madalynn Milnes on her first win at the New York
State Breeders Show in Syracuse, NY. Madalynn and The Great Lady have
teamed up to make a terrific pair in the show pen this year.
At 19, The Great Lady is no stranger to the show pen. She was the 1993
Congress Reserve Champion in the Limited Non Pro and the 1995 NRHA Youth
14-18 Reserve World Champion. "Izzy" was "retired" in 1996 to start her
role as a broodmare. She has foals by Hollywood Dun It, Rooster, Chic
Please and in recent years has been bred to Milnes' own Brennas Red Pine
Jac. Izzy was bred to Brennas Red Pine Jac again for a 2006 foal, via
embryo transfer, so that she could help Madalynn learn about reining
too.

Willowbrook Spring Show Results
The first show for 2005 at Willowbrook was a huge success for Milnes Quarter Horses and Jerry Coleman Performance Horses.
To start off the weekend Amber Jewel won the Rookie class marking a 70.5 on Goldpine Sweetie. This is this pairs first class win together.
In the next class Madalynn Milnes got off to a great start and picked up her first two NRHA Youth Points in her first class placing 4th in the 13 and Under riding The Great Lady. Look for Madalynn and the youthful 19 year old "Izzy" at the EPRHA shows this year.
Jerry Coleman won the Intermediate Open on Saturday on Gail Olson's Berrys Prize while Tommy Milnes was third on From Dust Til Dawn own by Carl Ernst.
Karen Shedlauskas and Dun Pretty Nifty teamed up to win the Non Pro and Intermediate Non Pro on both days.
Ted Stawinsky earned a paycheck on Lark Chex in the Limited Non Pro on Saturday.
Next is was Gail Olson's turn aboard Berrys Prize in the Novice Non Pro claiming the Reserve Championship on Saturday while Jerry Coleman was third in the Novice Open aboard Rock N Roll Olena owned by Cathy Herbert.
On Sunday Tracy Tuerk picked up a paycheck in the Limited Non Pro aboard her pretty stallion Docs Chic Scoot.
Jerry Coleman tied to win the Intermediate Open and Open on Sunday aboard Cathy Herbert's Rock N Roll Olena marking a spectacular 172.5. After deciding to remain Co-Champions with Wayne LaFortune the coin toss was in Jerry's favor and Cathy Herbert and her little bay mare now have their first Morrison Bronze. Jerry was also third on Gail Olson's Berrys Prize in both the Intermediate Open and the Open.
To end the weekend Jerry picked up the Novice Championship aboard Deb Strahman's Enter Hale Bopp. Enter Hale Bopp is a full brother to Berrys Prize owned by Gail Olson. Michael Scotto was the Reserve Champion in the Novice riding his own Dust Do It. Carl Ernest tied for third in the Novice Non Pro showing his From Dust Til Dawn.

Jackson Ohio Show Results
Congratulations to Karen Shedlauskas and Dun Pretty Nifty for their first class win together in the Intermediate Non Pro on Friday, these two were also second in the Intermediate Non Pro on Sunday.
Jerry Coleman and Lynda Schmidt's Paddies Irish Heart once again hit their mark winning the Intermediate Open and Open on Sunday with a 73. Jerry also tied himself for 4th place in the Limited Open Derby and 5th place in the Intermediate Open Derby on Paddies Irish Heart with Cathy Herbert's Rock N Roll Olena marking a 143.5 on both mares.
Jerry and Rock N Roll Olena "Hershey" were also 3rd in the Open on Sunday. This little bay mare was a finalist at the SWRHA Futurity and just had a beautiful buckskin stud colt by 2003 NRHA Futurity Champion Wimpy's Little Step via embryo transfer. Look for Jerry and "Hershey" at the Carolina Classic.

Florida Classic Show Results
In addition to the beautiful weather on the gulf coast of Florida, it was a great reining at the Florida Classic. Jerry Coleman rode Lynda's Schmidt's new mare, Paddys Irish Heart, to win the $1000 Intermediate Open on Monday. He was back in the $1000 Intermediate Open on Friday aboard Tracey Tuerk's SCF The Night Train and placed second.
Jerry and "Radar" were second to Dutch Chapman riding Dun Its Great Lady, or Garbo as she was known around the Milnes Quarter Horse barn. Garbo, by four Million Dollar Sire Hollywood Dun It and out of The Great Lady, was bred, raised and trained at MQH. She was purchased by Sue Kuryloski last March on Chapman's recommendation. This win was Garbo's first bronze trophy.
