Jerry Coleman has been selected to be a clinician at the 2004 Equine Affaire held in Massachusetts. Jerry is the only reining trainer attending and will conduct two clinics over the four day event. Morgan and Time To Be Smart really got together at the 2004 Falls Creek Slide. Morgan and Smarty won all three classes they entered including the Ladies class with 24 entries, the Youth 13 & Under with 5 entries and the Rookie with 21 entries. Congratulations Morgan.

Lynda Schmidt and Goldpine Sweetie Win the ABI Non Pro Derby

The Carolina Classic was a great show for Lynda and her fantastic mare "Sweetie". Lynda and the little mare won both the Intermediate and Non Pro Atlantic Breeders Incentive Derby's. After making the finals in both divisions she ended up tied in the finals and it went to a run off. The run off would end with Lynda and Sweetie victorious after marking a 210.5.

Brennas Red Pine Jac 2004 Foals

We are happy to announce that all six foals by Brennas Red Pine Jac are here, and all six foals are duns. Three colts and three fillys. Congratulations to Barb and Ted Stawinsky of Factoryville, PA on the arrival of their filly out of their mare Wolverton Ruffle (Wolverton Chex). Another congratulations to Marianna Ferdo of Port Crane, NY on her filly out of her mare Poco Nellie Burns.

The Milnes’ herd grew by four with the arrival of the first filly on March 22, 2004 a dun filly out of Sheza Ms Macho. April 19th brought us the arrival of a colt out of The Great Lady. Bar S Smart One gave us her colt on April 22nd. Jessie The Great gave us all a break and had her colt on April 29th as to not interfere with the Carolina Classic, which coincided with the weekend she was due to foal.

Congratulations to Diane Digioia on her purchase of the Gordyville Breeders Cup breeding to Brennas Red Pine Jac. Diane will breed Miss My Chrome (Chrome Plated Jac) to Brennas Red Pine Jac for a 2005 foal. Diane has a Sunrise Enterprise 4 year old mare out of Miss My Chrome and also has a 3 year old Brennas Kid mare that is currently in training with Jerry Coleman. Just this year the Digioias were greeted with a stud colt by Conquistador Whiz.

April EPRHA Show Results

Milnes Quarter Horses and Jerry Coleman Performance Horses get off to a great start at the April EPRHA show.

April 3 & 4, 2004

Jerry Coleman rode Gail Olson’s Berry’s Prize to win the $500 Novice Horse Open with a big score of 73. He also placed the talented gelding second in the $500 Open. Gail also showed “Trouble” in the $200 Limited Non Pro earning herself a third place paycheck.

Tommy Milnes was second in the $500 Novice both days showing his own Sugarmans Kid.

Lynda Schmidt showed Goldpine Sweetie to a second place finish in the $500 Novice Horse Non Pro on Saturday.
