Welcome to Milnes Quarter Horses, a breeding and training facility
located in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Founded in 1993, the facility
is located on 100 wooded acres and is home to broodmares, babies,
training and show horses. Amenities include several barns, indoor
arena, round pen, horse walker and outdoor training track.
Milnes Quarter Horses welcomed Jerry
Coleman Performance Horses
in 2001. Jerry has worked with top horsemen in multiple disciplines
over the years. He is an NRHA Reserve World Champion and multiple
All American Quarter Horse Congress champion.
Tommy Milnes, an NRHA Reserve World Champion and All American Quarter
Horse Congress reserve champion, successfully competed in NRHA youth
and Non Pro events before entering the professional ranks in 2000.
After working for several NRHA professionals, Tommy returned to Milnes
Quarter Horses in 2002.
Both of these talented trainers have taken horses bred by Milnes
Quarter Horses to the winners circle in the last few years. We are
very proud of Great
Star Cielo, owned and shown by Tommy Milnes,
who earned the 2001 All American Quarter Horse Congress Limited Open
Futurity reserve championship. This gorgeous mare is out of one of
our favorite broodmares, The
Great Lady, and by one of the most popular
reining horse sires in the industry today, Gallo Del Cielo (Rooster).
In 2002, Jerry Coleman rode Brennas
Red Pine Jac, owned by Tommy
Milnes, to win the 2002 All American Quarter Horse Congress Limited
Open Futurity Championship. This handsome stallion is out of another
special mare, Pretty
Kilo Kid, and sired by the impressive Great
Red Pine.
